Irish raised Singer-Songwriter Maverick Sabre & DJ Producer Hussla D provide audio stems for young people to recreate their own version.

The stems are part of the application process for young people to get on the artist development programme. We are looking for a production team to be made up of a Singer, Rapper, Musician(s), Producer and DJ. Vocal Stems : Maverick Sabre London born, Irish raised singer songwriter, first championed by BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra’s MistaJam as one of his “Ones to Watch for 2011”, and subsequently described by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens as the “male Amy Winehouse” with his catchy lamenting social-political content.

In 2010 he collaborated with Professor Green on the single ‘Jungle’ which debuted at number 34 on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at 31 the following week. He performed Oasis’s “Wonderwall” on Chris Moyles’ BBC Radio 1 Comic Relief show, created a buzz for his EP ‘The Lost Words’ reaching number 2 in the iTunes Store Top Ten Songs chart.

He has since collaborated with Chase & Status, Chip, Devlin, Chronixx, George the Poet to name a few. He has also toured alongside chart toppers Plan B, Cee Lo Green, Snoop Dogg and The Script and played huge shows such as ‘Later’ with Jools Holland and live on BBC2 from Glastonbury Festival.

Music Stems : HUSSLA D DJ/Producer with two decades of experience on the underground UK Urban music scene. Presenting his first radio show at the age of 11 he then went on to building his own Reggae Dancehall sound system ‘Jah Troopers’ which gained a reputable status on the Reggae Dancehall circuit supporting most international Artists and Sound systems on their UK Tours. He presented shows on BBC 1xtra in the stations early years as a guest on specialist shows and presented a series on X-tra Talent.

Introducing Garage/ grime into his music styles he became known for his MCing with co-host Lickle J and became residents on UKs leading garage event brand “Sidewinder”, playing up and down the UK with all the top UK MCs, rappers & DJs. This platform created the opportunity for him to bring through upcoming artist who he then began producing and since has produced and independently released various projects covering reggae, dancehall, hip hop, soul, RnB, garage and grime.
