Another great programme with Northamptonshires Young Offenders Service. A very rewarding result working with these young people who proved they are positive and can be constructive and achieve when given the opportunity and correct support. Throughout the programme we had group discussions and they all took part in various reflection activities which created the basis for them to do a self-anayalis and identify why they ended up in the unfortunate circumstances they were in.
Using this we generated a concept for a song, and then exploring the styles of music and artists they like we created the song, everyone choosing a role in the production (songwriting, engineering, producing & recording). We filmed the process and created a music video from the footage [see below].
